Filippo Sacchelli

Filippo Sacchelli, born in 1999 in Parma, Italy, holds a B.Sc. from the University of Parma (2021) and an M.Sc. from the University of Parma (2023). His research journey began with the study of dynamic interactions between DNA strands on nanostructured electrode surface, working with Prof. Bertucci. His research interests later transitioned to the field of organic synthesis, focusing on CO2 utilization in the carboxylative cyclization of propargylic amines during his Master’s studies under the guidance of Prof. Della Ca’. Currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Parma, his research is centered around the development of innovative processes for the synthesis of bulk chemicals using decarbonized feedstocks and it is sponsored by Versalis.
